Niche

Your niche is your specific corner of the internet—what you're known for. "Social media tips" isn't a niche; it's a massive category. "Instagram Reels tips for real estate agents" is a niche. The more specific, the better.

Why? Because riches are in the niches (yeah, I said it). When you're hyper-focused, you attract exactly the right people who become super engaged fans. You become the go-to expert in that specific thing. And you're not competing with everyone—just the few people in your specific niche.

New creators often resist niching down because they fear limiting themselves. "But I'm interested in lots of things!" Cool, pick one for your account. You can have multiple accounts or evolve later. But trying to be everything to everyone means you're nothing to no one.

Your niche should sit at the intersection of what you know, what you enjoy, and what people actually want. All three matter. If you pick something you hate, you'll burn out. If you pick something nobody cares about, you'll have no audience. If you pick something you know nothing about, you'll have nothing valuable to say. Once you've built authority in your niche, you can expand. But start focused. Grow your niche presence with GTRsocials.
